General Information

The Lawrence Municipal Court is located in downtown Lawrence at Sixth and New Hampshire next door to the Marriot at the Riverfront Plaza. Onsite parking is available. Keep in mind, though, that many of the spots are reserved for hotel guests. The yellow spots are reserved for court business. To enter the court, you must pass through two sets of double doors into a large foyer. The court will then be on your right.

Lawrence DUI Defense Attorney

If you are charged with a DUI in Lawrence, KS, you must act quickly to protect your driver's license. A driver's license will be automatically suspended if you do not request an administrative hearing within 14 days of being pulled over.

The Lawrence Municipal Court can prosecute arrests for First DUI or Second DUI. If the arrest is the third or more, the case will be sent to the Douglas County District Court.
